Unity Homes has continued to support our students by offering internship opportunities every year since 2023. We are proud to announce that eight students have been selected for the June 2025 internship intake.

This year’s cohort includes both first-time interns and returning students who have previously benefited from the programme. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing them apply their skills and gain valuable experience in a professional setting.

Meet the June 2025 Interns

David Nzai
David is a graduate of Machakos University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As he awaits graduation this coming November, 2025, David has joined the Unity Homes internship programme for the first time this June, 2025.

Raymond Kazungu
Raymond is one of our proud scholarship beneficiaries. After performing well in his KCPE, financial constraints threatened to end his educational journey. Thankfully, his application to Kids League Kenya was successful, and he received the support he needed to continue his studies.

He enrolled at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic, where he recently completed a course in Mechanical Engineering (Production). Raymond also gained hands-on experience during his industrial attachment at Kenya Electricity Generation Company (KenGen). He is now part of the June 2025 interns at Unity Homes.

George Otieno
George recently completed his final semester at Zetech University, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Passionate about storytelling and the power of media, he is now gaining valuable hands-on experience through his internship at Unity Homes.

Mwenda Fransiscah
Fransiscah is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry at Masinde Muliro University. She has completed her third year and is set to enter her final year in September. This internship will provide her with an opportunity to apply her skills in a professional setting.

Washington Omondi
Washington is a third-year student at The Co-operative University of Kenya, pursuing a BSc. in Computer Science. He has also joined Unity Homes for the June internship before proceeding to his fourth year in September.

Returning Interns
In addition to welcoming new interns, Unity Homes has also brought back some of our former interns who previously made a strong impression:

  • Victor Omondi, a third-year student at Kenyatta University, pursuing a BSc. in Health Records and Information Management.
  • Jenipher Nyadzua, a diploma holder in Business Information Technology
  • Yeri Sadik, who recently completed his internship interview and is currently awaiting feedback.
