We could be your nominated charity

Are you looking to motivate your team and your community towards a human interest cause that really makes a difference?

For 25 years Kids League Kenya have worked with companies to engage their customers and their staff in charitable activities.

This can take many forms, from fundraising to a set charitable donation amount. We love working with organisations with similar values who will help us to change lives.

Benefits of charitable endeavours

Sense of purpose

Many consumers and investors aim to choose brands and companies who have a strong sense of purpose and are acting in ways that are right, not just commercially, but also doing good for the world.

Having a robust and engaging Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy and programme of activities is one of the ways that your organisation can demonstrate it is giving back.

This positive news flow for your business will encourage clients and other supporters to invest in you.

Donations are tax efficient

We have a Tax Exemption Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.

This means any donations made to Kids League Kenya that then recorded to include our Income Tax Information proceed to pay gross without the deduction of withholding tax.

You can donate online as a company to Kids League Charitable Trust (our company name) by completing the steps on Trustbridge where you have an opportunity to complete your company details as part of the donation process.

Please contact us to have a copy of our Income Tax Exemption information to include in your records when filing your mandatory Tax Returns.

Access to talent

Helping our students with work experience

One of the biggest challenges for our Kids League Kenya is getting access to opportunities.

These kids are from impoverished backgrounds with parents working ad-hoc seasonal jobs in many cases. They do not have a network or contacts to help them with how to find our opportunities available in organisations or to build their CVs.

They do however have the drive to change their lives.

You can help by offering internships, giving our students valuable work experience and references for future applications.

If you have full time roles available, giving our students an opportunity to interview, gaining valuable feedback and interview scenario experience is also very helpful as they apply for future roles. Of course the ideal is offering them the role if they are a suitable candidate.
