Education is a fundamental human right, and essential for social and economic development and yet for many it is out of reach.

The backdrop
In Kenya the right to education is guaranteed and free until the end of primary school level.
However the infrastructure and volumes of students mean that the education sector is Kenya faces a number of ongoing challenges.
In Mombasa County, which is where we focus our work, there is clear cause and effect from the time limit of funded education.
For many families living in poverty education is not something they can afford.

We work to enable those in in the most difficult and vulnerable of circumstances to have a chance. We offer them an opportunity to continue their education. If a child shows promise, scores well and works hard a Kids League Kenya sponsorship can change their life.
We believe that students should be able to act as self-sufficient young adults, capable and excited to pursue their lives.
Our success is measured in employable and motivated students who are influencing their future, and their family’s future.
We’re a small charity with all donations going directly to the education of students. We work closely with the community locally and this direct and personal influence on the lives of these talented students is our reward.
