Kids League Kenya partners with Operation Orphan

The covid pandemic was a difficult time for everyone, including many organisations. For Kids League Kenya we took action to formalise a partnership with a UK based charity.

To secure the future of Kids League Kenya we looked at ways to link with a UK organisation. This would enable us to access NGO funding and to have proactive supporter to collaborate with.
Our International Liaison, Ann Dudley, engaged Operation Orphan, a UK charity with global projects who held similar values and interests to Kids League Kenya.

Benefits to Kids League Kenya and our community

Beyond the access to funding applications, there are a number of additional positives that come from our partnership with Operation Orphan.

  1. Supporting our team
    Operation Orphan fund one of our Mombasa based team are part of our project development ambitions. This gives additional capacity to the office team, and our autonomy. The team at Operation Orphan are also able to lend capacity to help us with campaigns and events.
  2. Monthly donation mechanism
    It is through Operation Orphan that our UK donors can give monthly and we can also welcome donations from the USA.
  3. Promotional activities
    We are grateful to have the support of Operation Operation in amplifying our activities and also supporting new initiatives.
